    Thank you so much for this amazing session David 🙏 When doing the exercise at 54:00-56:00, do we keep the standing leg slightly bent, or is it straight and flexed?

      Always keep somewhat of a bend in the knee. But if possible yes you can make the leg mostly straight. Always adapt as needed based on what you're able to do. 🙏🏻✨

    1:55 CYCLIST, you wanted to say CYCLIST. It's amazing to me that I have not found any qigong practices tailored to cyclists. Ahh well... I'm a cyclist with very lousy recovery and am looking to improve my recovery time so I can train harder, more often ,so that I can keep up with my buddies who are all faster than me. Are there specific exercises or visualizations that will help with this? Thanks so much!

      Greetings, and thanks for reaching out. The first thing I would recommend is one of the most popular Qigong forms call the eight brocades. And because you are looking for quicker recovery and you're already exercising a lot I would recommend the short version of it. This is a great place to start for overall body conditioning and rebuilding your energy levels. Once your energy is up you recover more quickly. Again I recommend starting with this particular video and at some point you may also want to try our 21 day Qigong challenge. That is a product that you can find on our website. It starts you off with just 10 minutes a day which is actually perfect for a beginner. And it leads you straight through 21 days of practicing 10 minutes a day with the option of doing double 10 minute rounds. That is also a great way to be introduced to Qigong and also start rebuilding your energy and therefore expedite your recovery time. I will be filming again in the near future and I will consider creating a videos specific for cyclists, if I feel that one is warranted. Overall my first initial thinking is to send you in the direction of these particular practices because they will strengthen the overall body, a big part of which is made up of your legs as well as building up your lower belly, which in Chinese medicine is called the lower Dan Tien. This is the same area in Fitness that is called the core, but in traditional Chinese medicine in Dallas practices of Qigong we are also talking about the energetic core not just the physical core. We are also talking about the gut. So this becomes a primary location to begin bringing energy and attention etc and in fact this area of the body acts like a battery so recharging it is a huge part of what my particular Qigong practices are all about.       Greetings and thank you for reaching out. It is a tricky subject to talk about on the internet these days. I'm going to do a film shoot here soon and I will give it some further thought as far as what I might be able to say directly. In the meantime I highly recommend the following program. It is a 21-day program that I created several months ago. It is a 10 minutes a day program that is done over the course of 21 days. You will also have ongoing access to the program once you purchase it. I believe it is on sale right now for like $29 normally like $49 I believe. The practices are simple, easy to do and highly effective. Simultaneously if you subscribe to the channel and stay tuned I will see what else I might be willing to speak to directly. Again it's tricky to be too direct about this subject. The exercises that I teach are practiced in China on a daily basis reportedly by over 8 1/2 million people.       Hi David, I'm on day 17 of the 21 day challenge. I'm really enjoying it. Thank You. I'm troubled with chronic dry mouth and hoarseness in my voice due to anxiety and sleep problems. I have been inhaling/exhaling through my nose only since it's making my symptoms worse if I exhale through my mouth. Is it OK I do this? Is there a way to clear our the throat chakra? Any other suggestions? I appreciate your help. I have been spending a lot of time and practising from your videos on youtube. I'm 66 years young, my legs and arms been sore, so this week I have been doing sitting practising. Thanks Again

      Yes you can breathe in and out through nose. Good for activating parasympathetic NS. Also recommended holding lower belly daily while in bed ten to fifteen minutes. Also five minutes holding solar plexus. Also fasting from morning until lunch or dinner drinking lemon water. These will all help! 🤙☀️🌈

      Greetings and thanks for reaching out! Yes this is a local park and I love it myself. I'm glad you are enjoying it. Yes what you are describing is of course anxiety but also the body's fight flight or freeze mechanism. And if you experienced this acutely and or chronically you will end up throwing off your endocrine system and your digestive system is intimately connected to that and that's going to throw off the saliva and leave you with a dry mouth. And of course other problems. Finding a balance within the energy bodies, the endocrine system, the digestive system the respiratory system caramel and the circulatory system etcetera are all major categories that are addressed through Qigong practice. I teach medical Qi gong as you may know so this tends to be quite a bit more technical. But because of the technical aspect were much more likely to get the healing results that were seeking. That is awesome that you're finding some helpful content already on the channel. If you search I have various videos on stress and anxiety and how to reduce it. And if and when you are ready I recommend an online course that we have which we call 21-day Qigong challenge. It's not super challenging. It is not difficult. The biggest challenge comes in keeping the consistency. But the course is designed to give you a 10-minute routine everyday. And the exercises that I chose are simple but perfect for beginners. And at any time you feel adventurous you can always do it 20 minutes a day. Once you purchase the course you will have ongoing access to it. I believe it's on sale for approximately $29 right now. I'm going to leave you a link here so at any point you're interested I would recommend the starting with this course. I have a bunch of other things that I could point you in the direction of but I think this is the simplest and easiest place for you to begin and start seeing results. Also this chorus will be on an online platformso just like UA-cam at any point if you have questions about any of the exercises or anything you'll be able to send me a little message and I'll be able to give you feedback and answer your questions.     i was doing this along with you as you were talking. i felt a sense of magnetism and warmth each time the hands came together and crossed over each other. subbed baby.... yeah.... i really need to get my mind and body out of tense fear and rumination state. came was looking for something because my stomach has not been well and yeah. you are right. accessing conventional "help' is a long road of unwellness most of the time. keeping you in disease. and too bad if you do not have the money to get the kind of help you want. Just a note i would like to add. Modern medicine should not be referred to as "traditional medicine'. It is not. It is "Conventional Medicine" It follows a convention. It is only 2-0300 years old. Traditional Medicine is as old as the beginning of time.

      The lymph system begins in the lower abdomen. I would start there with hands on lower abdomen 10-15 minutes once or twice a day. I would then lat hands over the upper chest just below the collar bone. Hold this area for five minutes per day. This should start making a difference but might take even a month but stay with it. Drink plenty of water after each session. Keep us posted.
